Hello, I am Michelle, founder of by House of Kennedy and an internationally certified etiquette consultant, trained through the British School of Excellence in London and a graduate of Beaumont Etiquette's Finishing School, Plaza Hotel, New York.
My etiquette journey began in the late 1980's as a child of the Belda School of Deportment and Modelling, Invercargill.
I firmly believe that the lesson's learned at a young age gave me a more confident edge. Confidence brings success.

Classes
Children's Etiquette
Age 5-10 years (Primary School)
The foundation of etiquette taught in childhood is priceless and considered a lifelong investment. Whether the goal is acceptance into the school of choice or to learn basic manners, table etiquette, social skills and confidence, Etiquette by House of Kennedy can create a unique program for those 5-10 years of age (for 11 -17 years consider our teen etiquette course).

- Dining etiquette / How to set the table
- How to behave at a dining table (restaurants and private homes)
- Making friends
- Developing social skills, confidence and good communication
- Dress and grooming
- Positive body language and eye contact
- The art of high tea
COST: $150 per person, includes High Tea, 2.5 hours
Pre-Teen Etiquette
Age 11 - 13 years (Intermediate School)

- Etiquette introduction: Respect, Consideration & Kindness
- Dining etiquette
- Personal appearance: Dressing & grooming
- Introductions and handshakes: Greeting adults and superiors
- Sitting, standing and walking like a lady/gentleman
- Confidence and self-esteem through etiquette
- Conversation etiquette
- Poised posture instruction
- Social Media, email and phone etiquette
- Social events etiquette: etiquette at dances, parties and beyond
- Dress codes: Casual, semi-formal and formal
- Body Language

AfternoonTea Delights
To pinkie or not to pinkie. Learn the tradition art of having afternoon tea, commonly referred to as High Tea.
A fabulous occasion with friends or celebration.
- Tea or Coffee with a glass of bubbles or non-alcoholic beverage
- Enjoy learning about the age-old British tradition of tea etiquette and social do’s and don’ts over a delicious setting of tea, sandwiches and cakes
- Learn the history of afternoon tea
